What the seller says

Description There is a certain feeling you only get from an old mechanical rangefinder. You pick it up, feel the weight of the metal body, advance the film with the lever, focus carefully through the rangefinder — and suddenly photography becomes a process again rather than simply pressing a button. The FED-4 with Industar-61 is exactly that kind of camera. This is the lever-wind version of the FED-4, paired with the classic Industar-61 lens. The camera is working and ready for someone who wants to experience authentic vintage 35mm photography or add another interesting FED to a Soviet camera collection. 📷 A classic Soviet rangefinder The FED series has a very distinctive personality. These cameras were designed in an era when a camera was expected to be a mechanical instrument. There are no digital screens, autofocus systems or electronic menus here. The FED-4 has a substantial old-school feel in the hands. It is not trying to be lightweight or modern — and that is exactly part of its charm. Every control reminds you that this camera comes from a completely different period of photography. 🔍 Industar-61 lens The camera comes with an Industar-61, one of the classic lenses associated with FED rangefinder cameras. It is a versatile lens for everyday photography and can be a lovely choice for: street photography, travel, portraits, architecture, documentary photography, and simply experimenting with the look of real 35mm film. The lens uses the classic M39 screw…
