NotDone

NotDone reads a used listing the way a careful buyer would, then tells you: buy it, sell it, keep it or wait.

What we know about a used item before you decide

NotDone reads the listing for you: the exact model, the declared condition, what you pay in total, and what others ask for the same item.

What's it really worth? See what other sellers ask.

Fourteen listings for the same record, today. We read them all — price and condition — and tell you where this offer stands against the others and, if you are selling, what to ask. The range is what other sellers are asking for the same item in the same condition, not an estimate of what it will sell for.

Kind of Blue, LP · declared condition: very good

Current offer €24, comparable range €28 to €36 on a €20 to €40 scale.

  • Listings read14
  • Comparable9 / 14
  • Below the typical price−€8

Then we tell you: buy it, sell it, keep it or wait.

Model, version, declared condition: that item, not one that looks like it.

Offers from several sellers for the same item, read together and told apart.

Often it is a part, a fault or a bait: we keep it out of the comparison and tell you so.

When the data only supports a range, you get a range, not a made-up value.

An offer that cannot reach you is not an offer.

A duplicate, a missing piece, a set to complete: the verdict knows.

NotDone never buys or sells for you. Buy, sell, keep or wait: you decide, with the numbers in hand.

Selling? One listing, wherever it sells.

NotDone prepares the listing once, with a price band from what others ask, and opens it for you, with no commission, on the marketplaces that make sense for that item. You confirm each one; when it sells on one, it reminds you to take it down on the others.

Questions, answered plainly.

What is NotDone?

NotDone compares second-hand offers. For one model, whether a phone with its storage, a record or a camera body, it lines up the listings from several marketplaces and shops, cheapest first, and shows you the typical price. Then it sends you to the seller. The app, on its way, will do the same from a photo and help you sell too.

Where do the offers come from?

From second-hand marketplaces and shops such as eBay, Vinted, Wallapop and Etsy, and from specialist sellers where their catalogues are available. Which ones depends on the country: the English pages compare offers that ship to the United Kingdom. We read the offers again during the day, and every page says when: a listing can change after that.

How much is my used item worth? Does NotDone estimate it?

No, we don't guess what it will sell for. We show you what other sellers are asking today for the same model: the typical price and the comparison range, which is the middle half of the prices. Condition is the one each seller declares. When there are too few offers for a range, we say so instead of making one up.

How does NotDone treat shipping?

The price we compare is what you pay in total: the item, shipping to your door and any fee the marketplace adds for the buyer. If a seller doesn't state shipping, we never count it as free: that offer is shown apart, outside the comparison. And a seller only counts if it ships to your country.

Does NotDone buy or sell on my behalf?

No. We sell nothing and hold no stock: every offer takes you to the seller, and you pay on their site. Some of those links earn us a commission if you buy, and your price stays the same. And when the app helps you sell, it will only publish your listing on the marketplaces you confirm, each with its own fees.

What should I ask for it, and where is it worth selling: Vinted, eBay, Amazon, Subito, Wallapop, Leboncoin or Kleinanzeigen?

Look at what others are asking today for the same model: the typical price and the range tell you where you stand, and the price is yours to set. With the app, once it's out, you write one listing and open it where that item sells: eBay and Vinted, Amazon for books, and your local classifieds, from Subito and Wallapop to Leboncoin, Kleinanzeigen or Milanuncios. No commission from us.

Does NotDone find second-hand items near me?

No, it isn't a local marketplace. We compare offers from anyone who ships to your country, whichever city they're in: so you aren't stuck with what's around the corner.

Which items does NotDone cover?

Second-hand goods in general, not one category: smartphones, laptops, tablets, consoles and video games, cameras, headphones, vinyl records, books, watches, musical instruments, bicycles, furniture, fashion, sports gear, small appliances, building sets and trading cards. It works best with items that have an exact model, because that's where we compare truly identical things.

How does NotDone help me buy second-hand safely?

We don't handle payment and we don't vouch for the seller: payment and delivery stay between you and them, on the site where you buy. We help before that: you see which model it is, what the seller declares about its condition and what you pay in total. Offers priced too low to be true stay out of the comparison, and when a price sits far below the rest, read the listing carefully.

When does the app come out, and how do I get it?

The app isn't public yet. Leave your email on the waitlist and we'll write the day we open. Meanwhile the comparison is already here on the site, free and with no account. The site is in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German.
