What the seller says

GI Joe #46 Mike Zeck Cover (1982, First Prints, VF Condition, Marvel Comics, Rare Newsstand Variant Editions) The GI Joe comic was so popular that almost every issue from 1-63 were reprinted with the exception of issues issues 1 and 4. Additionally, this is a rare Newsstand Variant, which are sought by collectors and more valuable than Direct Editions. I am on a personal mission to collect first printings of the GI Joe 1 through 100 for my personal collection. They contain some of the best covers, coolest stories and are a huge part of my childhood. (Note: Newsstand Edition Variants, which have a barcode in the bottom corner, were produced in lower numbers and are sought by collectors, which is why this comic is priced a little higher than others you might see. Direct Editions, which were sold to directly to comic book stores have an image where the barcode would be. Remember those spinning metal comic book racks in grocery stores? Yeah, those comics got the shit beat out of them.) This makes an excellent gift for any comic book collector no matter the era they collected in. Like everything in my shop, I can create/combine listings for custom orders to save on shipping. Don't hesitate to ask me anything, I'll consider breaking up sets for single issues to make you the exact order you want. Just let me know. My ultimate goal is to make every other collector as happy as I am when I add something new to my heavily cultivated collection. Let me know what you need, even if it's not listed, I'll do my best to make it happen. All comics ship bagged and boarded, because we live in a civilized society.
