Terms of use
These terms govern the use of the notdone.app site, the waitlist and, once it is available, the NotDone app. By using the site or the app you accept them. They are written in plain English: if a sentence is unclear, write to us before using the service.
Who provides the service
NotDone is a project by Federico Ragusa. For any question write to hello@notdone.app.
The site and the waitlist
The site is free and tells what NotDone does. By joining the list you ask us to write to you when we open in your country: you will receive one or a few messages, and you can leave whenever you want with an email. Joining commits you to nothing and guarantees you no place: we open one country at a time.
What NotDone does
NotDone reads a second-hand listing, compares it with the public offers for the same item and tells you what it thinks: buy, sell, keep or wait, with a price band taken from what other sellers ask today.
It is an indication computed on the data we have at that moment, not an appraisal and not advice. Prices change, an offer can vanish, a source can be missing. Before you buy or sell, check for yourself: the decision and the responsibility stay yours.
Buying
When an offer interests you, we take you to the seller or to the site where it is published. The sale happens between you and them, under their rules, their prices and their protections. NotDone is not a party to the contract, takes no payment and ships nothing.
Some links to eBay and to Amazon are part of their affiliate programmes (eBay Partner Network, Amazon Associates): if you buy, eBay or Amazon may pay us a commission. It does not change the price you pay and does not change the order in which we show offers.
Selling
NotDone prepares the listing once (text, photos, category, price band) and opens it on the marketplaces you confirm. On some it publishes on your behalf, with the authorisation you give us there (today eBay); on the others it opens their page and you finish. In both cases the listing is yours: you are the seller, you answer for what you declare, for the item and for its legality, and each marketplace keeps its own rules and fees.
NotDone takes no commission on sales. When an item sells, we remind you to take it down elsewhere, but taking it down is up to you.
Your account
To use the app you must be at least eighteen and have one account, your own. Keep your credentials safe: what happens with your account we treat as done by you. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is used for unlawful activity, telling you unless it is urgent.
Fair use
A few rules, all common sense.
- Do not use NotDone to sell illegal, counterfeit or stolen items.
- Do not access the service automatically (programs, bots, data extraction) and do not resell the data we show you: it is for your personal use.
- Do not upload photos or text you have no right to use, or that concern other people without their permission.
- Do not work around the technical limits of the service.
Your content
Photos and text you upload remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them to provide the service, and to publish them on the marketplaces when you ask us to. The permission ends when you delete the content or the account, except for the copies the law requires us to keep.
What is ours
The app, the site, the NotDone name, the illustrations and the texts are ours. The names and marks of the marketplaces belong to their owners: we name them only to say where we walk you, with no connection to or endorsement by them.
Availability and changes
NotDone is a young service: we may change, suspend or close features, sources and countries. We do our best to keep it up, but we do not guarantee it is always available or free of errors. If we change these terms substantially, we tell you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence and for everything the law does not let us exclude, in particular your rights as a consumer. We are not liable for sales between you and others, for the conduct of the marketplaces or the sources, for the pricing decisions you take with our indications, or for indirect losses.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the protective rules of the country you live in also apply, and disputes go before the courts of your place of residence. Before it comes to that, write to us: most things are settled with an email.
