Vintage Coach Carrier Bag Leather Messenger Handbag 9800 Size 10.5 x 17.5 x 5 in Called "Musette Bag Large" in Early Fall 1987 Coach catalog. This extra-large, unisex style has gained favor for its versatility as a business brief and as a day-to-day bag. It is designed for anyone who carries a lot in the course of the day. The full 5" width accommodates a large number of legal-size files as well as overnight essentials. A full-length outside back pocket keeps notepads and tech handy. The two roomy, gusseted pockets under the front flap and the inside drop pocket keep smaller items organized. The 46" detachable shoulder strap adjusts with solid brass buckles. This is a pre 1994 bag in mahogany brown leather which has been cleaned and conditioned for a new owner. It does have light wear to the exterior such as marks, scuffs, and small pen marks upon close inspection. This is consistent with a bag in service for over 30 years.
