Vintage Berber Kilim Wool & Leather Handbag, Moroccan, 8 x 12 inches, Colorful Textile, Handcrafted Tote, Ethnic Art, Satchel A one-of-a-kind vintage handbag made from a soft ivory-colored leather and a handwoven vintage wool berber kilim style textile. I believe this is Moroccan. I've had this for over 20 years, so I am guessing it was made in the 1980s or 1990s. Bag size is roughly 12 x 8 x 3 inches (16 to 17 inch drop with the handles). One side is fully textile, the other side features a front pocket 4.5 inches deep. Interior is fabric lined, and there is an inside zippering pocket. Inside pocket is a bit tricky to operate as some extra fabric in the stitching wants to get in the way. Top of handbag also is zippering. Leather straps are a bit stiff, so has a tendency to fold (See photos) and has some slight soiling - possibly some leather cleaner will solve that. Strap size is fixed (not adjusting in length) Woven portion in good shape. While we strive to depict actual colors, there may be slight variations based on varying monitors.
