Ivory virgin wool and cashmere coat by Garwolin, estimated size L, featuring a dramatic A-line swing silhouette, collarless neckline, structured shoulders and an elegant above-knee length. A beautifully constructed Polish vintage coat made from a luxurious blend of 80% virgin wool and 20% cashmere, with an exceptionally soft, refined surface and fluid drape. The silhouette is the defining feature of this piece. Relatively streamlined through the shoulders and upper body, the coat expands dramatically towards the hem, creating a generous A-line / swing / trapeze shape with beautiful movement. The minimalist collarless neckline can be worn closed with the two buttons positioned near the neck, creating a clean architectural front, or left open to reveal broad lapel-like folds, giving the coat an entirely different appearance. The shoulders are strong and structured, balancing the generous volume of the lower part of the coat. The sleeves are intentionally shorter than standard full length, finishing above the wrist, with small slits at the cuffs. This proportion works particularly well with long gloves or with knitwear showing underneath. Two angled front pockets are incorporated into the sides, and the coat also features side slits that enhance its movement and relaxed shape. Fully lined in smooth ivory viscose. A sophisticated piece that works beautifully with quiet luxury, old money, minimalist, Scandinavian, 60s-inspired and modernist styling. Made by Garwolin S.A., Poland. It may also work as an oversized piece on smaller sizes. The model is 170 cm (5 ft 7 in) tall and most often wears size M. As shown, the…
