Vintage Gama Sport Timer parking watch, new old stock from the 1960s, with a gold-tone case, a silvered dial and a black 60-minute disc set in a segment aperture above the centre, framed by applied gold baton markers with black inlay and matching gold hands beneath a domed crystal. Watches of this kind were made for drivers, so they could keep track at a glance of the time left on a parking meter. Today it has become a charming relic of another era, unworn and with its original factory sticker still on the caseback. Note that the timer does not count down. The disc turns continuously and can be reset to zero at any moment with the pusher at two o’clock, after which it counts the minutes elapsed, up to one hour. Specifications Movement: Mechanical, hand-wound Calibre: Durowe Origin: Germany Functions: Hours, minutes, central seconds, 60-minute parking timer Case width: 34 mm (excluding crown) Caseback: Stainless steel, original factory sticker in place Strap: Black croc-embossed calf leather, 18 mm, gold-tone tang buckle Total length: 23.3 cm Condition New old stock, unworn. No signs of wear to the case, dial or crystal. Strap unused and unmarked. The watch is in working order and keeps good time over 24 hours. Please refer to the photographs.
