Ce qu’écrit le vendeur

This book is a fascinating, behind-the-scenes biography of the Natural History Museum in London, celebrating the numerous eccentric individuals and their scientific endeavors that shaped the institution. It offers an intimate look into unseen galleries, locked doors, and priceless specimens that are typically hidden from the public. The author, a former senior paleontologist, reveals how historical collections remain relevant to modern science, from Darwin's specimens to ancient fish being tested with modern equipment.
